When is the Iran war fallout going to hit the US economy?
The American growth story continues. This time it’s the ISM Services PMI.
The US ISM services index rose to 54.5 in May from 53.6 in April.
In May last year it stood at 50.2.
Remember what we said back in May of last year?
Or again in June of last year?
This recovery was predictable and, indeed, predicted - over a year ago.
The trick was to follow the measurable lagged impact of fluctuations in the growth rate of the money supply - the key driver of what we quaintly call “the business cycle”.
It’s actually a bubble-bust cycle of course, but we could never say that in polite society.
